Welcome to the Zoo Crew!
For our Spring 2021 season, Zoo Crew: Nature Club will on the following Saturdays: March 6, March 20, April 3, April 17, May 1, May 15, May 29. Come prepared to investigate nature in a hands-on, outdoor setting. Outdoor exploring can get messy!
Each month, we'll explore a different theme:
- March: "Sense-abilities" This month is all about exploring the world around us using our senses.
- April: "Earth Explorers!" To celebrate Earth Day, we'll use this month to bring awareness to outdoor explorers globally and locally!
- May: "Arthro-squad" Get ready to navigate the world of invertebrates as we gaze through the grass and tree crevices to observe the life of these essential animals!
When you register, select your preferred Club meeting time -- the morning series or the afternoon series. Zoo Crew participants will remain with the same clubmates throughout the entire season. Sessions are from 9:00 - 11:00 am OR 1:00 to 3:00 pm.
COVID Precautions:
- Nature Club will operate primarily outdoors, in small groups of approximately 8:1 ratio of children to teachers. Supplies will be disinfected before and after use and hand washing/respiratory hygiene will be encouraged.
- This program will require adherence to all current state and local mandates regarding mask use, social distancing, etc. at the time of the program.
- Caregivers are asked to assess the health of their children to determine if it is appropriate to send them to Nature Club.
Registration for Spring Nature Club is closed, check back for Fall Nature Club registration this summer.
Looking for an opportunity for your child (ages 6-12) to get outside and explore? Zoo Crew: Nature Club is for you!
