The tundra’s average summer temperature is 50-60°F, but you won’t need a jacket for this camp. We will find out how the tundra animals keep warm in this cold habitat.

Contributing to Conservation: Zoo Careers
Ever wonder what it’s like to work at the zoo? You’ll get the chance to find out as we delve into many wild careers at Memphis Zoo. By participating in set tasks throughout the week, campers will accrue volunteer hours and receive a certificate of completion. Don’t be afraid to put in the work in this action-oriented camp!

Z.I.P. Zoo Insider Program
Join us for the most unique, exclusive, and special Zoo Camp opportunity ever as we pull out all the stops for a week-long adventure with the Memphis Zoo. Meet animals one-on-one; guest star on stage with our Zoolebrities and Interpreter staff; broadcast with the Zoo Dude; train an animal; and SO MUCH MORE!
This camp will include many special VIP animal experiences, lunches daily, access to extended care as needed, and a souvenir photo package.

Campers will get up close and personal with some beautiful butterflies as we welcome these flying insects back to Memphis Zoo in 2022! Come join us as we grow our appreciation for these pollinators and others around the world!
