Memphis Zoo's Virtual Zoo Programs bring the Zoo to you via the Zoom platform! From the comfort of your classroom, students will explore behind the scenes locations, visit animal friends, and tour parts of the Memphis Zoo all while participating in live, engaging, standards-based classes!
$85 covers the cost of your Virtual Zoo Program
Based on availability, we can provide all programs Monday through Friday .
9am-2pm Central Standard Time. These programs last 30-45 minutes.
Please have Zoom downloaded before your virtual visit to ensure quick and easy access to your program.

Virtual Zoo Programs Topics
Journey virtually through the Memphis Zoo as we travel through time and discover how the world-famous Memphis Zoo has changed since it opened in 1906! We will visit some of the original buildings at the Zoo, as well as get a behind-the-scenes look at the first species that called Memphis Zoo home!

Join us in this live stream program to experience all the special characteristics of Memphis Zoo’s big cats. From cheetahs playing chase to happy lion roars, you will experience them all in this virtual Memphis Zoo program!

Discover the thought behind the building of CHINA,
and most of all, enjoy meeting our pandas Ya Ya and Le Le! These
bears spend a lot of time eating their favorite food, bamboo! We will
find out just how they are able to eat one of the toughest plants in
this virtual CHINA experience!
( Grades K, 1-2, 3-5, 6)
Join us as we trek to the great Northwest - right here at the Memphis Zoo! From polar bear plunges to sea lion dives, behind-the-scenes tours, and animal visitors, we will experience it all in this engaging, live-stream journey!

The Zambezi River is home to a diverse group of animals in Africa. In this live-stream program, we will visit the Memphis Zoo's Zambezi River Hippo Camp exhibit, peek behind-the-scenes with the one and only Zoo Dude, learn about the river system, and understand how animals (like hippos) can thrive in a river habitat!

The great apes of the world live in Asia and Africa, but luckily, we have a few species right here at the Memphis Zoo! We will venture virtually through the Primate Canyon exhibit and talk about these amazing animals and how we can do our part to help them in the wild!

Virtually travel the globe with the Memphis Zoo and meet three animals from three different habitats! In this livestream program, we will explore the adaptations these animals have for survival, the role they play in their ecosystems, and how we can help animals everywhere from the comfort of our own homes.
