This two hour program takes our popular zoo classes and adds a homeschool twist. Meet live animals, participate in hands-on activities and get a guided tour of exhibits.
1st-8th Grades: Zoo in Motion
What goes up must come down! Let us explore motion in a zoo-tacular way. Ever wonder why ducks fly in a V or how a sea lion moves so quickly through the water? We will discuss and examine Newton’s three laws of motion and how they apply to the Zoo every day!
Morning Session (1st – 8th grade) 9:30am – 11:30am

1st-8th Grades: Spooky Science
Vampire bats, tarantulas and snakes - oh my! In this homeschool day adventure we will learn how to make bubble snakes and color changing vampire goo while investigating some of the misunderstood animals often associated with fright. Prepare to be delightfully spooked but not scared.
