Education Events


Bring your group to explore the animal world after dark. Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts and American Heritage Girls will receive a Snooze patch and will have the opportunity to satisfy some of the requirements for their group’s programming while participating in this fun and educational evening program.

At your Owl Prowl you will get to:

  • Satisfy some requirements toward a badge or adventure
  • Meet animals up close
  • Go on a moonlight safari (weather permitting)

At your Zoo Snooze you will get to:

  • All of the fun activities from an Owl Prowl, PLUS Sleep in a climate controlled room
  • Eat a light continental breakfast
  • Receive a guided tour of one of the exhibits before the Zoo opens to other guests
  • Enjoy the Zoo after the morning program ends
