Zoo visitors please note that Zoo Boo is a separate event and is not included in daytime admission. The Memphis Zoo closes at 5 p.m., and Zoo Boo begins at 5:30 p.m. Thank you.

It's never too early to start planning your trip to Zoo Boo! From hayrides to candy stations to straw mazes, you won't want to miss this SPOOK-tacular Halloween event.     Le Bonheur Zoo Boo Virtual Costume Contest 

Le Bonheur Zoo Boo is back, and so is the Virtual Costume Contest! Enter your little ones for a special prize! Three winners will be chosen from all submissions for the event. Winners will receive a special Memphis Zoo prize pack. Zoo visitors please note: Zoo Boo is a family-friendly event. All costumes must be appropriate for all ages. 

By submitting your photo, you give Memphis Zoo permission to use this photo for commercial purposes.

Contest instructions and rules are as follows: 

1)      Locate the X just inside the Zoo’s Courtyard, near the Magic Mr. Nick stage.
2)      Take a picture of your little trick-or-treater standing by the X. X marks the spot!
3)      Tweet, Facebook or Instagram the photo with the hashtag #memzooboo. Only those photos tagged on social media will be used. 

1) All photos must be taken from the Virtual Costume Contest area.
2) Photos must be submitted by October 31.
3) Family-friendly photos only.
4) One submission per person, per account.
5) Winners will be contacted by 5 p.m. the following Friday.
