Honorariums and Memorials

Honor or memorialize a friend or loved one by making a donation to the Memphis Zoo. When you make a memorial or honor gift to the Zoo, we will send a special card acknowledging those you have named. The acknowledgment card does not include the amount of your gift. Additionally, your gift will be recognized in our members' magazine, Exzooberance.

Zoo Rendezvous

Saturday, September 12, 2015

The Zoo's largest fundraiser. Over 90 of Memphis' finest restaurants and bars sample their fare while guests enjoy live music on multiple stages. Held annually in September.


Zoo Boo

October 16-18, 23-25, 30 & 31, 2015

The Zoo's biggest family event. Among the many activities are trick-or-treat stations, haunted hayrides, a straw maze, Dracula's Disco, face painting and fortunetelling. Held over the last two weekends in October.


Zoo Lights

Select Nights beginning Friday, November 20, 2015

A holiday event featuring light displays, singing Christmas trees and photos with Santa.  Held select nights, beginning late November through December.


Memphis Zoo on Ice

Select Nights beginning Friday, November 20, 2015. Open daily beginning Saturday, November 21, 2015.

Guests have a ball on 5,400 square feet of real ice at Memphis' only tented ice skating rink. Held daily and select nights beginning late November through January.


Zoom through the Zoo

This event features a 4 mile race and a 1-mile family fun run. Held late May.


Wild World of Wine and Beer

The Zoo's largest fundraiser for conservation. Guests enjoy selections of wine and beer, light hors d'oeuvres, and a silent auction that is hosted by the Zoo. Held in early Spring.


Education Sponsor

Each year, thousands of students take advantage of the Zoo's educational offerings. The Zoo's full-time staff develops specialized courses in wildlife and environmental studies for pre-kindergarten through grade 12. Programs include classes for school field trips, Zoo Camp (Summer, Spring Break and Fall Break), Zoo Snoozes and Homeschool Workshops.
