YOU CAN HELP
Make a Donation
Funding for C.A.N. research projects is possible through the hard work of the Memphis Zoo's staff and dedicated outside investigators, as well as the numerous contributions from donors and Zoo members. So, the next time you visit the Zoo, ask how you can contribute to the conservation fund and make a difference in the lives of animals around the world!
Call (901) 333-6767 if you would like to add to your current membership or (901) 333-6553 if you would like to make a contribution to the conservation fund. Read more about donating to the Memphis Zoo by

Volunteer at the Zoo
By volunteering at the Zoo or your local nature reserve, you can learn about how animals live and eat and how they fit into the great "circle of life." The knowledge you gain can be passed to your family and friends so even more people will be aware of the animal kingdom and how we can help save it. Learn how you can volunteer at the Memphis Zoo.
Cell Phone Recycling
Answer the “Call of the Wild” by recycling your old cell phones at the Memphis Zoo. Don’t just leave them lying around! Our cell phone program encourages everyone to recycle their cell phones. A recycling box is located in the administration building near the receptionist’s desk. Recycling your old cell phones will help protect bonobos, gorillas and their habitats. All the funds raised for this recycling program will go toward the Lola Ya Bonobo Sanctuary in the Congo.
Recycling in the Memphis Community
If you live in the Memphis area, you have the opportunity to take part in recycling programs. Here are some links for more details on how to recycle in your part of town:
