We have had a great summer season for our three Polar bears! They really enjoyed their sixty-two degree chilled pool and had a Wet and Wild time playing together and swimming throughout the long, hot Summer.
We are now geared up for the nice days of Fall and Winter. The zoo's daily hours are changing, now it will be open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm daily for our Winter Schedule. Don't worry this change will not affect our Polar bear Chat which is still at 1:30 pm daily...

May 14, 2008 was a big day for polar bears. It was the day that they were added to the list of threatened species under the Endangered Species Act.
