Designed especially for homeschool students, homeschool at the Memphis Zoo is an exciting alternative classroom to explore biological topics. Students will meet live animals and participate in innovative activities.

Bombs Away!
It's a bird...It's a plane...It's the amazing seed! Learn why coconuts are so heavy, burs are so sticky, and why eating watermelon seed really won't form a watermelon in your stomach. Join us as we explore the different ways seeds find a home.

Pollinating Partners
Lily, Daisy, Rose...not your typical girls next door but plants in disguise. Grab your spy gear because we are going undercover to reveal what's hiding behind the pretty petal.

Seeking Shelter
Out in the wild, there is one word that includes trees, caves, bushes, and even cactuses...home! Come burrow into the extraordinary digs of the animal world.

Voracious Vegetarians
Eight pounds of food is enough to make even competitive eaters stop in their tracks; however, for some voracious animals, that is only breakfast! Come learn why, in the competition for the biggest appetite, herbivores reign supreme.
