Add a Class!

Thursdays and Fridays are generally our busiest days for field trips. Avoid the crowds and book your trip on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday. It will make a big difference!

May is our busiest month for school groups.

The Zoo opens at 9 a.m. If you plan to arrive prior to 9 a.m. or after 10:15 a.m. you might avoid congestion at the gate.

All groups must have at least one chaperone for every 10 students. Groups will be asked to leave if this requirement is not met.

If you've paid in advance, please have zoo stickers on children and chaperones (including teachers) prior to arrival.

All Zoo classes are by reservation only. Space is limited, so make your reservations as early as possible.

Have a structured activity that focuses on topics covered in your curriculum.
Contact the Education Department for possible activities.

Since there are no secure areas available for storage of lunches and coolers, we recommend that you leave these in your vehicles until needed.

Please help us keep the Zoo beautiful by using designated walkways and placing trash in the appropriate containers.

Zoo residents are on special diets designed to keep them healthy. Please instruct your students to refrain from feeding the animals.

Register your group today calling (901) 333-6765.
