"Kebara," female lowland gorilla

and "Kebara," to Memphis!

Penny and Kebara will be on exhibit daily from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The Zoo's male, "Mwelu," will be on exhibit from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m.

The process of introducing our male to the new females is being done in their nighthouse. Therefore, all gorillas may be temporarily off-exhibit for short amounts of time throughout the day.

Read the keeper log on this page to learn more about gorillas, or check out the recent article in our Zoo member's magazine, Exzooberance.
